Courses are open to adults, ages 18 and older. An individual is enrolled when both the registration form and tuition are received. You will be notified if a course is full or cancelled.


UTC, MVR#4 Adult Ed Course cancellations 

For UTC, MVR#4 Adult Ed course cancellations due to weather, please check one the following options listed. All will be 
updated with any cancellation info:

Television stations, after 12:00 noon:

  • WABI-TV channel 5
  • WLBZ channel 2
  • WVII channel 7

Students may also opt in to text notifications for storm cancellations

Please note -  

There will be no UTC, MVR#4 Adult Ed classes on the following holidays:

  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veteran’s Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas
  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • President’s Day (& February school break)
  • Patriot’s Day (& April school break)
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day


Students will receive a full refund if UTC Adult Education cancels a course.

Refunds after the second class meeting are not available. There will be no refunds for the one-time (day / night) classes. All other refunds at the discretion of the Director.

NO cash refunds will be given.
